Sachin Sawant, Maharashtra Congress spokesperson alleged corruption in the interaction programme ‘Me Mukhyamantri Boltoy’ launched by CM Devendra Fadnavis.
“The contract of the programme was given to a company Effervescent Films Pvt. Ltd. which was established just 3 months before the contract i.e. on 02nd March 2017 and it was granted the contract on June 2017. The total expenditure of the programme was about 4.5-5 crores. The last show of ‘Me Mukhyamantri Boltoy’ was projected in the month of September, 2017.”
– Sachin Sawant, Maharashtra Congress spokesperson.
“The company generated the bill of around 19 lakhs per month, however, no show was telecasted after September 2017,” he added.
“Was the programme ‘Me Mukhyamantri Boltoy’ or it is ‘Me Ghotalebaaz Boltoy’,” he further alleged.
Although Directorate General of Information and Public Relations (DGIPR) which is the public relation unit of the government has its own technologies and facilities available, what was the need to grant the contract to a private company?
How can the Directorate General of Information and Public Relations (DGIPR) grant a contract to an inexperienced company which have been established just a 3 months ago before the contract?
Use of modern technologies have been mentioned in the contract, however looking at the quality of the programme telecast, quality is seen nowhere?
If the programme was to connect with the people, Why didn’t CM stopped appearing in the programme?
CM had the spare time to attend Mukesh Ambani son’s wedding, he didn’t have even an hour to interact with the common people.
“What about the other two programmes Jai Maharashtra and Dilkhulas?” questioned Sawant.
Congress spokesperson Sachin Sawant alleged BJP and CM Devendra Fadnavis on the corruption and irregularities of the programme ‘Me Mukhyamantri Boltoy’.
