Goa Chief Minister
Manohar Parrikar has been admitted to a private hospital at Candolim in North Goa district, who had just arrived back from the US after completing the treatment for pancreatic cancer.
Deputy Speaker and BJP MLA Michael Lobo said that he met Parrikar at the hospital and the Chief Minister was fine. Goa Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) confirmed about CM admitted to a private hospital.
Chief Minister hasn’t joined the office, returning from the US, after completing his treatment for cancer. CM has not attended any official meetings, ever since his return.
officials state that CM Manohar Parrikar has been clearing files from the home itself and will join the office back again by the end of Ganesh Festival.
Congress- opposition party in Goa blames that CM didn’t even bother to assign any of his cabinet members to take the charge of his responsibilities until he undergoes all the necessary medical treatment for his health. Another two cabinet ministers of the Goa government are undergoing their treatments.
The opposition parties blame that the state is facing the constitutional crisis due to the absence of CM and other two cabinet ministers.
