First Year Junior College (FYJC) Started from Thursday morning, to reduce the tension and bustle of parents and student, Thane school Organised parent’s teacher meet session. Under this session school, they will provide all the information regarding admission like choosing the college, submitting documents, understanding online procedure, queries about admission
While talking to city based teacher about this successful session said, “Since many have secured a good percentage, it is possible that a high scorer may narrowly miss a seat in a college of his/her choice. We have called parents on Thursday where minute details would also be explained. The parents should sit with their child, analyse last year’s cut off of the college the student is interested in and then only make a proper preference list.”
Parents are very happy about this session. In conversation with Darshana Thakker, whose son is a topper from St. Xavier’s High school, said, “I have a booklet since two years ago, which has all the rules and regulations of the admission process. But now, no such book exists. Everything is digital. The school is very co-operative in this matter. They have organised a session with parents wherein the authorities are going to divide the students to form a batch. In this way, everyone will get ample time to solve their queries and fill out the forms.”
Considering several students have managed to score well in exams, teachers believe the admission process will be crucial and one mistake could result in a huge loss. This will not only help parents but student also.
