Modi Government is the centre after the failed schemes and rafale scam. United Youth Front in coordination with Indian Youth Congress will organise a massive national protest rally “Desh Bachao, Yuva Bachao” against the BJP led NDA government. These organizations will raise voice on the issue of unemployment, irregularities in SSC, fuel price hike, inflation and Rafale contract.
Youth wing organisations of 14 national and regional political parties, will include representatives from Congress, RJD, CPI, CPM. The youth march starts from Mandi House and ends at Parliament Street where youth leaders will address a public rally and it will be followed by a formation of a joint coordinated strategy for the upcoming polls in states as well as to Lok Sabha.
The invitation has been sent youth leaders from the opposition camp including Jignesh Mevani, Chandrashekhar Ravan, Kanhaiya Kumar and others. According to sources, Hardik Patel, who has also extended his support, will not be attending the march due to other engagements.
According to Youth Congress president Keshav Chand Yadav, the protest march and rally are being organised to express the grievances of the country’s youth on issues of unemployment, inflation, fuel price hike, irregularities in SSC and other competitive exams, police atrocities, BJP sponsored crimes and massive corruption in the Rafale deal”.
“There is an increase in unemployment. There is massive interference by the government in universities and colleges across the country. Vyapam scam, SSC scam nothing has happened so far. So we will all gather at Mandi House and will march all the way to Parliament Street to hold a public rally,” he added.
Youth Congress vice-president Srinivas BV said, “There is a rise in women atrocities, rape, attacks on young farmers who are protesting against the government by police and inflation. But the government hasn’t done much for the youth of this country. That’s why the members of 14 national parties are coming together to raise their voice.”
